Per Natale ho ricamato questo pincushion per una carissima amica. L' ho abbinato ad una lanterna (nella foto), che secondo me richiamava il simbolo della luce.

Finalmente...rieccomi!!! Finally...Here I am again!!!

Dopo ben due mesi di totale assenza dal web, rieccomi qui!!!
Finalmente oggi ho riavuto il mio pc che, dopo un solo anno di vita di onorato servizio, una bella mattina di dicembre ha deciso di non accendersi più. Per quanto premessi il tasto di accensione, nessun segno di vita! Ovviamente, per la legge di Murphy, tutto ciò in prossimità delle festività natalizie, che hanno reso i tempi di riparazione e di attesa del pezzo di ricambio eterni... :o(
A ciò si è sommato un susseguirsi di imprevisti, malanni, influenze, ricadute, impegni, mercatini benefici, incombenze prenatalizie, che mi hanno totalmente assorbita, a discapito del mio amato web...compresi tutti i vostri bellissimi blog, a cui sono ormai affezionatissima.
Ora le cose sembrerebbero andare un po' meglio, oggi ho ritirato il pc riparato, i bimbi hanno ripreso la scuola, mio suocero, che era stato ricoverato, sta molto meglio.
Adesso...non mi resta che cercare di recuperare gli arretrati!

Mi scuso tantissimo per non aver potuto rispondere ai vostri messaggi augurali in tempo utile, e approfitto di questo post per inviarvi adesso, sebbene in vergognoso in ritardo, i miei più cari auguroni di Buon Natale e Felice Anno Nuovo! Grazie ragazze per gli affettuosi auguri che ho ricevuto, mi hanno fatto un immenso piacere, e davvero tanti tanti calorosi auguroni anche a VOI!!!

My dearest International Friends, after two months' total absence from the web, I am sooo happy I am here again! Oh, how I have been missing you all!
Finally, today I have picked up my PC from the repair shop! After only one year's service, a beautiful morning of December it decided not to switch itself on! I tried and tried to press the start button, but the PC did not show any sign of life. Arrgghhh! I did not want to believe it... Obviously, for Murphy's law, this happened with Christmas holidays approaching, and this slowed things down. We had to wait a spare part for weeks.
In addition, last month we (that is to say my family and me) incured in lots of unforeseen events, diseases, flues and relapses, and than my father-in-law was rushed to hospital for a serious problem while in the meantime also my mother-in-law was not well (she has problems to walk)... All this took up all of my life for days...
Now, things seem to be much better, my father-in-law has just been discharged from hospital and feels much better, my kids went back to school after Christmas holidays and also the PC seems to be ok! ...Now there is nothing left to do but make up for lost time...!

I want to apologize soo much to you all for being so late replying your so appreciated messages and wishing you all a Very Happy New Year ! I hope you spent a wonderful Christmas with your families...
